What is the best way to prevent paint from chipping of sunglasses?

I have these really cool sunglasses but a few days after I got them the paint started to chip and come off, is there anything I could put on it to keep it long lasting?

    You could maybe put a deluted version of clear nail polish on it?
    Or, return them immediately.
