In this excellent series, almost every astronaut seems to be wearing a type of gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses. I’m not sure, but I think these may be what 60’s-era astronauts actually wore since I’ve seen the exact same pair being worn by several astronauts in real Mercury/Gemini/Apollo footage.

Anyone know?
